DAL SPINACH SOUP

Ingredients:-

▪️100gm Spinach leaves
▪️50gm onion
▪️1-2 garlic cloves ( optional)
▪️20gm washed Lentils
▪️2 cups of water
▪️1Bay leaf
▪️1/2 tsp black pepper
▪️Pinch off - Salt

 

Method:-

▪️To pan add chopped onion. Cook till under is tender.

▪️Add half of the garlic & stir

▪️Now add the lentils, water , bay leaf & bring a boil. Cook & simmer on show flame for 40 minutes.

▪️Now add the remaining garlic & add salt & pepper

▪️Throw away the bay leaves. Puree a cup of lentils in the blender & simmer for another to the soup.

▪️Add chopped spinach, cover & simmer for another 5-10 minutes string occasionally.

▪️ Garnish with a teaspoon full coriander leaves & serve hot.
