DAL SPINACH SOUP
Ingredients:-
â–ªï¸100gm Spinach leaves
â–ªï¸50gm onion
â–ªï¸1-2 garlic cloves ( optional)
â–ªï¸20gm washed Lentils
â–ªï¸2 cups of water
â–ªï¸1Bay leaf
â–ªï¸1/2 tsp black pepper
â–ªï¸Pinch off - Salt
Method:-
â–ªï¸To pan add chopped onion. Cook till under is tender.
â–ªï¸Add half of the garlic & stir
â–ªï¸Now add the lentils, water , bay leaf & bring a boil. Cook & simmer on show flame for 40 minutes.
â–ªï¸Now add the remaining garlic & add salt & pepper
â–ªï¸Throw away the bay leaves. Puree a cup of lentils in the blender & simmer for another to the soup.
â–ªï¸Add chopped spinach, cover & simmer for another 5-10 minutes string occasionally.
â–ªï¸ Garnish with a teaspoon full coriander leaves & serve hot.
